La Virgen del Cisne
La Virgen del Cisne es una de las advocaciones marianas más veneradas de Ecuador, especialmente en la provincia de Loja. Cada año, miles de peregrinos recorren más de 70 kilómetros desde la ciudad de Loja hasta el santuario de la Virgen, ubicado en la parroquia de El Cisne, en homenaje a la imagen que data del siglo XVI. La festividad combina fe, tradición y cultura, siendo un símbolo de devoción y unidad para los fieles ecuatorianos.
The Virgin of the Swan (Virgen del Cisne) is one of the most venerated Marian devotions in Ecuador, particularly in the province of Loja. Every year, thousands of pilgrims walk over 70 kilometers from the city of Loja to the sanctuary of the Virgin, located in the parish of El Cisne, in honor of the image dating back to the 16th century.
