Sicarios grabaron el asesinato de pareja de adolescentes en Guayaquil: la brutalidad de un crimen iluminado por linternas
El lunes 13 de octubre de 2025, a las 21:45, una pareja de adolescentes fue asesinada en el bloque 8 de El Fortín, en el sector de Nueva Prosperina, al noroeste de Guayaquil. Los jóvenes, de 17 años, conversaban en la puerta de la casa de la chica cuando fueron atacados por sicarios que utilizaron una linterna para iluminar la escena y grabaron el crimen con sus teléfonos móviles.
Según testigos, el joven, identificado como Jesús, intentó proteger a su novia, Vanessa, pero ambos fueron alcanzados por disparos de pistola y fusil. El ataque fue tan violento que los cuerpos quedaron tendidos en la vereda, frente al cerramiento de la vivienda. Vecinos del sector escucharon los disparos y gritos, pero al llegar al lugar, los agresores ya habían huido.
La madre de Jesús, quien había cumplido 17 años el 23 de septiembre, se encontraba en su casa, a una cuadra del lugar del crimen, cuando escuchó los disparos. Al llegar al sitio, encontró a su hijo sin vida. El cuñado de Jesús recordó que ese día, el joven estaba nervioso, caminaba alrededor de la casa y no soltaba el celular.
Según versiones policiales, el joven fallecido pertenecería a la banda criminal Los Tiguerones y se dedicaba presuntamente al expendio de drogas. El territorio donde ocurrió el crimen está actualmente en disputa entre distintos grupos criminales, identificados como Águilas, Lobos, Tiguerones y Lagartos, que mantienen conflictos por el control del microtráfico en la zona.
En el lugar del asesinato se encontraron 11 vainas percutidas, 1 calibre 9 milímetros y 10 calibre 5,56, así como una bala deformada, lo que indica la utilización de armas de alto poder en el ataque.
Este crimen se suma a la creciente ola de violencia en la Zona 8, que comprende los cantones de Guayaquil, Durán y Samborondón. Según datos oficiales, en esta jurisdicción se registraron 523 crímenes entre el 1 de enero y el 14 de octubre de 2025, 245 más que en el mismo período del año anterior. En total, la Zona 8 contabiliza 2.482 asesinatos en lo que va del año.
La grabación del asesinato por parte de los sicarios ha generado indignación en la comunidad y pone en evidencia la brutalidad con la que operan estos grupos delictivos. Las autoridades han iniciado una investigación para dar con los responsables y esclarecer los motivos detrás de este crimen.

The attack was so violent that their bodies were left lying on the sidewalk in front of the house’s fence. Neighbors heard the gunshots and screams but found the assailants had already fled when they arrived.
Jesús’s mother, who had turned 17 on September 23, was at her house, a block away from the crime scene, when she heard the gunshots. Upon reaching the site, she found her son lifeless. Jesús’s brother-in-law recalled that day, noting the young man was nervous, pacing around the house, and wouldn’t let go of his phone.
According to police reports, the deceased young man was allegedly affiliated with the criminal gang Los Tiguerones and was suspected of drug dealing. The area where the crime occurred is currently disputed among various criminal groups, including Águilas, Lobos, Tiguerones, and Lagartos, who are in conflict over micro-trafficking control.
At the crime scene, authorities found 11 spent cartridge casings—1 from a 9mm caliber and 10 from a 5.56 caliber—as well as a deformed bullet, indicating the use of high-powered weapons in the attack.
This murder adds to the rising wave of violence in Zone 8, which encompasses the cantons of Guayaquil, Durán, and Samborondón.
